Description
This traditionally shaped wooden salt mill, designed and engineered in England, offers the perfect balance of style and function.
Made from high grade sustainably sourced beech, painted jet black and then finished with a high gloss lacquer; makes it great for keeping on display in the kitchen or dining room whilst also remaining an invaluable every day cooking tool.
It is ideal for anyone who enjoys perfectly seasoned food but wants to be in control of their salt intake as it features the Cole & Mason Precision ceramic grinding mechanism that ensures an accurate and even grind with every turn.
The hardwearing qualities of the mechanism supported by its lifetime guarantee means you can be assured of consistently outstanding performance for years to come.
Fill the mill with your favourite coarse sea or rock salt by unscrewing the knob on the top and removing the wooden top.
The stainless steel collar helps funnel the salt into the mill. Once filled, replace the top and knob. The knob can also be used to adjust the grind size from fine to coarse. For a finer grind, tighten the knob. This is great for soups and sauces. A coarser grind is great for steaks, simply loosen the knob until you reach your desired setting. Hints & tips: If your mill becomes difficult to grind, particularly on a fine setting, trying clearing the mechanism. Turn the mill upside down, loosen the knob to the coarsest setting and twist the top. This will free any large salt crystals that may have become lodged. Retighten the knob to the desired setting.
